So you can have a peace of mind
Our aim is to foster a community of sharing with trust and care. While lending, should your item be mishandled or stolen, we’d like to have your back! When you lend with MyRent, every item is covered by our guarantee up to S$1,000.
In a nutshell
MyRent will cover your loss up to S$1,000 - which, at the discretion of MyRent, could be paid in kind or a replacement item.
If you’d like to claim for your losses, please prepare the following documents in order for us to assess the validity of your claim:
- Contact us within 24 hours of the end date of rental period
- Images and/or videos of the item in working condition prior to renting.
- Details of exact item specification and purchase price along with URL of an e-commerce (eg: Amazon, Lazada, etc) listing of the exact product, if available.
- Proof of purchase of the item (eg: Credit Card receipt, etc). Optional.
- Both, borrower and lender, are verified users on MyRent platform. You can see your verification status in Profile section of the app.
- Borrower is unwilling to reimburse and/or is uncontactable.
- Full payment for the rental transaction is made on MyRent app.
- Currently this program is only valid for rentals taking place in Singapore. Both the lender and the borrower need to be based in Singapore when the transaction would have taken place.
- You can only make a maximum of 2 claims on MyRent platform in a span of 5 years.
